Acceptance of any contribution, donation or grant is at the discretion of the animalheroes.co.uk. The animalheroes.co.uk will not accept a gift unless it can be used or spent in accordance with the purpose and mission of the animalheroes.co.uk.

No irrevocable gift, whether immediate or lifetime, will be accepted if under reasonable circumstances the gift would jeopardise the financial security of the donor.

The animalheroes.co.uk does not advise on the tax or other treatment of donations and encourages donors to seek advice from their own professional advisers to assist them in making their donation.

Animalheroes.co.uk accepts donations of cash or listed securities. Donations of in-kind services are accepted at the discretion of animalheroes.co.uk.

Certain other donations, real estate, personal property, gifts in kind, illiquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some way must be assessed prior to acceptance because of the special obligations they entail or liabilities they may pose for animalheroes.co.uk.

Animalheroes.co.uk will provide acknowledgements to donors that meet the tax requirements for goods received by the charity as gifts. However, except for donations of cash and listed securities, no value will be attached to a receipt or other form of substantiation of a donation received by animalheroes.co.uk.

Animalheroes.co.uk respects the intention of the donor with regard to donations for non-public purposes and those regarding the wish to remain anonymous. With regard to anonymous donations, animalheroes.co.uk limits information about the donor to only those employees who need it.

Animalheroes.co.uk will not compensate third parties, through commissions, finder's fees or other means, for referring a donation or donor to animalheroes.co.uk.
