We do our best to keep you informed about the projects and animal heroes you support, so you can see the difference your donation makes.

✓ We carefully vet the projects we support
Most projects have been personally visited by members of our team. In areas that are inaccessible due to conflict or security concerns, we work with trusted local partners and carry out extensive due diligence.

✓ We are paperless by choice
We don’t send mailings or fundraising packs by post. We prefer to invest resources in helping animals rather than printing and postage.

✓ Real people, real conversations
Have a question? You’ll always be able to reach a real person. No complicated phone menus and no endless automated responses. We’re happy to help by email, phone, or Whatsapp.

Governance

Animal Heroes is governed by a board of experienced professionals who share a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance.

Board members serve on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation for their work. Together, they oversee the foundation, ensure compliance with Dutch regulations, and help guide the long-term strategy of Animal Heroes.
