Great news for wild animals on Rhodos!

This summer our team went to Rhodos after the forest fires to help a team of local vets to help save wild animals from starvation after the forest fires in the island. During the last months, veterinary doctors George and Michalis together with other colleagues have continued to feed the deer and today they were so happy because after a long period of extreme drought, the grass is finally growing!

This means the risk has now passed and the animals can finally start feeding themselves again. We are very relieved and want to say thank you to George and his colleagues, and all other local volunteers who never gave up on the animals. Also, a thank you to our Finnish partner Eläimille apua-ilman rajoja ry.  who donated most of the hay on the Island and to all of you who donated for saving thousands of deer, goats and donkeys.

How can we help you?
